The field of 14 runners taken a good start from the gates with BLUE ORIGIN has taken the lead with the ace jockey SURAJ NARREDU following him ANGELICO (WIN LEGEND-For an Angel) with AK in the saddle in the inside there was MR KOOL and on the outside Knotty DANCER and in the wide outside there was SOUTHERN DYNASTY, Seige Perilous and Knight Envied settled in the midpack and in the rear there was ROYAL ARISTOCRAT. Entering the home straight and 400 metres to go BLUE ORIGIN still taking the lead by a length from ANGELICO in the inside and BUGSY on the far side also the wide outside SUNRISE (PHOENIX TOWER-sugar mint) came with a steady challenge but that was to late. In the final 50 metres Angelico just pulled it off from All Attractive and Blue Origin in third spot. The horse did respond well in the hands of AKSHAY KUMAR.
