Just one week left for the Bangalore Derby, punters incurred heavy losses. Trainer Prasanna kumar took the dias with his enchanting trick by placing 7 mounts in a card of 9 events. Amongst the 5 on money favourites representing Flying falcon, Tactical command, Lord of Legends, Defining Power, Obsidian , it was only Tactical Command who proved to be a pebble in the sand by winning The Chunchanakatte Falls Plate class 4. The feature event of the day was The Indian Army Day Trophy where Obsidian badly faltered on the track. In the 7 th race there was again the market favourite Lords Of Legend who bite the dust where Prasanna kumar's selection of ANALECT won at longer odds. I was not surprised to see Analect winning it since its coming from a good batch was third against Eternal Blaze. But I am sure many of us emptied our pockets by playing favourites. This is how racing happens in India. But friends we have to be very selective , we have to focus on some particular races mostly graded events. We can watch every race and can have all the records intact with us. Take the flavour of this King sport. All the best for the upcoming Bangalore weekend. I am sure trainer Prasanna Kumar will definitely bring smile to his followers. He is an excellent trainer this year a bit unlucky, but sure to bounce back.
